Brown corrects misrepresentation of his position by Bill Doskoch of Canadian Association of Journalists

In a fashion that seems very popular amongst members of the Canadian Association of Journalists, while they themselves have damaging misconceptions, Doskoch twisted what I had said to him, in writing, as a means of finding an argument he could dismiss. This letter corrects his (apparently deliberate) misrepresentation of criticisms made: "The concern is that, considering the poor communication and thinking abilities of those I have talked to in CAJ, including the Editor of your publication and the Executive Director, but with the exception, thankfully, of four board members, I am concerned that a project associated with the CAJ would repeat the same mistakes and only add to confusion in the journalism community. That is the one reason I withdrew the suggestion, as expressed in the letter you mis-read and misintepret." Journalists are, more than people in other sectors, the bullies in the story of the exclusion, injury and unnecessary killing of persons with sensitivities. They have made a sport out of the rights and security of members of this disabled group, eclipsed our history behind debate about novel medical approaches, and invisibilized the most serious issues while doing hysterical stories about lesser concerns.
