J. Kaufman, Ontario Ministry of Health Jay Kaufman assures NDP Health Critic David Reville of an untruth. 1989.
Kaufman replied to David Reville and Howard Danson to David Giuffrida in the same way. They ignored the well identified hostility in medicine concerning psych patients whose central nervous system dysfunction is caused or exacerbated by sensitivities. In subsequent conversations, Kaufman and others in the Psych Hospitals Branch continued to talk sideways on the issue, as people were being caused serious, sometimes lethal, harm. Based on mapping prevalence against suicide rates, some 4,000 such persons have been ploughed under and committed suicide in Ontario since. This does not include those persons with undiagnosed sensitivities who were unnecessarily killed by ADR's, or women with undiagnosed sensitivities who have been killed in eating disorder clinics.

J. Kaufman, Ontario Ministry of Health Jay Kaufman dodges MP David Reville's questions about undiagnosed CNS reactions. 1989.
It gets to a point where you don't want to deal with people because their deceit, in the circumstances, reveals such ghastly aspects of being human. In this case, Kaufman artfully dances around Reville's question, which was about whether persons whose central nervous system problems result from sensitivities remain undiagnosed in the provincial psychiatric population. The answer, of course, is yes. Just mapping prevalence against suicide statistics suggests that someone whose psych problems are caused or exacerbated by sensitivities commits suicide in Canada every day. How many are diagnosed?

J. Kaufman, Ontario Ministry of Health Jay Kaufman faithfully reports position of abusers as his own and that of the Ministry. 1989.
Kaufman had been approached about well documented attitude problems amongst physicians, including psychiatrists, that were resulting in the abuse of patients. Instead of addressing the issue, he merely passes on the deceit of the abusers. When asked how many patients with CNS problems caused or exacerbated by sensitivities had been identified by the measures outlined in his letter, no one in any of the administered hospitals, or in the Mental Health Facilities Branch was able to produce even one example. Public servants and physicians were lying about what was done in hospitals in order to to invisibilize their abuse.

J. Kaufman, Ontario Ministry of Health Jay Kaufman refers concerns about abuse to the abusers. 1990.
Kaufman was approached because psychiatrists in the provinces owned and operated psych hospitals were ploughing under psych patients whose problems were caused or exacerbated by sensitivities. His response was to solicit and later adopt the position of the abusers.
