Ashford and Miller summary. 1990.,
Ashford and Miller won a Macedo award from the American Association for World Health, affiliated with the World Health Organization for the 1989 report. The report was helpful in moving Health and Welfare forward, but had virtually no effect on the provinces (who deliver health care).
“last four paragraphs of Ashford and Miller report to New Jersey”. 1989.,
If a physician encounters a patient whose symptoms may be caused by sensitivities or be something else, it is important to rule out sensitivities before embarking on approaches that may hurt the patient if sensitivities are part of the problem.
“Brown to Ontario health minister Ruth Grier's EA Mary Lewis about abuse of CNS Reactors”. 1993.,
Ashford and Miller's work was enough to convince the federal health department to act to protect persons whose central nervous system dysfunction is caused or exacerbated by sensitivities, but it was not enough for the people responsible for delivering health care in Ontario to protect them. Based on mapping prevalence of sensitivities against suicide stats, there have been a couple of thousand consequent suicides since, just in Ontario.
