S. Murray, “MP Dan Heap's assistant Susan Murray applauds HWC action on sensitivities”. 1991.
At the health committee, in 1988, Dan Heap mentioned that his grand-daughter was allergic to peanut oil. His position was much more supportive than that of Judy Wasylycia Leis and others under Jack Layton's NDP. The reasons why the NDP went from a supportive position to one that contributes to deaths are unclear. Perhaps it was the ignorance of new people, or perhaps the federal NDP changed its tune once it realized that provincial NDP governments were killing people with sensitivities every day. Or perhaps they became confused by debate about the cult of environmental medicine.
