Gage Research (University of Toronto) Irv Broder sustains confusion by dismissing existing science.; 1991.
Broder chose to ignore decades of research that shows sensitivities are caused by a compendium of disorders. His irresponsible characterization of previous science helped obscure lethal abuse by his funder, the Ontario Ministry of Health. Tons of literature (See Garfield's three part literature review), consumer and clinical experience indicated what Health and Welfare referred to as a "compendium of disorders" that can cause sensitivities. Broder dismissed this reality out of hand in his consequently illogical, impossible, search for a single marker. Tens of thousands of people have been unnecessarily killed in health care, since. The administration of U of T took no responsibility for the exclusion, injuries and deaths that were sustained by Broder's lack of respect for existing science and by other abusive actions by U of T academics, such as Donna Stewart.
