The ODI had refused to hold a meeting by telephone as a means of accommodating advocates sensitivities, instead insisting that the advocate travel to (polluted) Toronto and meet in an office building where employees were getting sick because of the air. When the advocate responded by filing a human rights complaint, the ODI refused to discuss any issues related to the group that the advocate represented. Retribution?
